Police are appealing for witnesses after an armed robbery at Durrington post office, near Worthing.
At 1.50pm A man wearing a balaclava threatened a member of staff with a gun, and after he was given cash he fled.
The man was about 6′ 3″ aged around 20, a ginger-haired with thin-framed glasses. He was wearing jeans and a dark hooded top with the green letter M on the front and back and was carrying a rucksack.

Det. Insp. Andy Westwood said: “We are appealing for anyone who recognises the description, or who saw someone acting suspiciously outside the post office or in Franklin Road before the robbery to contact us.
“The post office worker was not hurt but understandably has been left very shaken by what happened.
“Please contact us if you saw or heard anything that could help us with the investigation.”
