Police Drugs Raids Net Small Quantity Of Cannabis

Two  are due to appear in court after police  drugs raids in Peacehaven.

On Friday 14 November  officers went to an address in Collingwood Close, and seized eight  mature cannabis plants in a spare room and a quantity of herbal cannabis.

Georgina Heywood, 44, unemployed, of that address has been charged with production of cannabis and possession of cannabis and has been bailed to appear at Brighton Magistrates Court on 14 January.

Officers also went to an address in Hoddern Avenue,  where they found a quantity of cannabis.

Patrick Forbes, 33, unemployed, of that address has been charged with possession of cannabis, and is also due to appear at the same court on the same date.

PC Louise Barkaway  said;

We will continue to act on information given to the police about people allegedly using and dealing drugs in Peacehaven and East Saltdean and these warrants are an example of this.
