Boiling Water Attacker Remanded In Custody

A man  has been arrested and charged by police over an incident in Lewes in which boiling water was poured over a woman.

Luis Alfaro-Tames, 47, of Downview Road, Worthing, has appeared at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (17 July) charged with committing grievous bodily harm on a woman known to him in Ousedale Close, Lewes, on 2 July.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Lewes Crown Court on 7 August.
