A man has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for his part in a Brighton shop burglary.
Daniel Isaacs, 31, of Marine Parade, Eastbourne pleaded guilty with burglary at Profile, a clothes shop on Dukes Lane at Lewes Crown Court on Friday (August 1).
Around £40,000 worth of designer clothes and other items were stolen in the early morning smash and grab at the shop on May 12 this year. Police traced a car linked to the burglary and arrested Isaacs in Nottingham.
D.C. Richard Valder-Davis said:
“We have been able to recover around half of the items stolen and hold Isaacs accountable for his part in the burglary for which he was sentenced to 18 months. We know Isaacs worked with other people and we are urging anyone who has information to contact us. This can be done anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
