PCSO Jessica Daltrop and PCSO Ben Deacon with people from Sierra Leone Brighton Association.<\/p>\n

Brighton Police<\/strong> has donated \u00a3400 to Sierra Leone Brighton Association<\/strong> who have been raising money for SOS children’s Villages, specifically in Sierra Leone<\/strong>, where they are working with children affected by or orphaned by Ebola.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The donation comes from the Police Property Act Fund (PPAF<\/strong>), made up of monies received by the police from property confiscated by order of the court and then sold.<\/p>\n

Police Community Support Officer Jessica Daltrop said:<\/strong> ”<\/p>\n

It was wonderful to attend the #StopEbola<\/strong> fundraiser on Saturday, November 29. I met some great people and the music and food was lovely. I am really pleased to present \u00a3400 to the charity and not only support the local community organisation, but know the money will help a great cause internationally. This is the start of more work to come with SLBA<\/strong>.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Sierra Leone Brighton Association<\/strong> is extremely grateful for the donation we received from PCSO Jessica Daltrop and the entire team at John Street Police Station, the funds will enable us to achieve our goal to provide better support to children orphaned by the Ebola epidemic in Sierra Leone.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
