It takes around 20 minutes and we arrived directly in the centre of Brussels. There is also a tramway \u00a0crossing the city.<\/p>\n<p>Brussels is an agreeable city and bustling marketplace with a good atmosphere and many shops both vintage and modern.<br \/>\nThe people we spoke to were very nice and friendly. They were easy to meet, and we enjoyed sharing a Belgium beer \u00a0together.<br \/>\nThere were lots of places to \u00a0buy chips and we \u00a0frequently saw people eating them whilst walking in the street.<\/p>\n<p>But If you want to live like Belgium people; you have try a taste of their traditional food!<br \/>\nMussels and chips, chicory, vol-au-vent\u2026<br \/>\nBut don\u2019t worry, in Brussels, you can try a bit of everything: Japanese food, Italian food, sea food\u2026<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_7750\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7750\" style=\"width: 570px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-7750\" src=\"https:\/\/coopsy.co.uk\/thenews\/wp-content\/uploads\/Charline-Brussels-1-570x320.jpg\" alt=\"Brussels\" width=\"570\" height=\"320\" srcset=\"https:\/\/the-news.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/Charline-Brussels-1-570x320.jpg 570w, https:\/\/the-news.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/Charline-Brussels-1-300x168.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 570px) 100vw, 570px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-7750\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Brussels<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In the area around the Grand Place in the heart of Brussels we found street after street of restaurants. The choice was overwhelming.<\/p>\n<p>Now we are ready to visit Brussels!<\/p>\n<p>The best way to discover Brussels is\u00a0by\u00a0walking because the centre \u00a0is quite small and also there are plenty of pedestrian zones with paved streets hiding their history. It is also possible to rent a carriage for a guided tour.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a beautiful place and a UNESCO World heritage site.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_7753\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7753\" style=\"width: 570px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-7753\" src=\"https:\/\/coopsy.co.uk\/thenews\/wp-content\/uploads\/Charline-Brussels-2-570x320.jpg\" alt=\"Brussels\" width=\"570\" height=\"320\" srcset=\"https:\/\/the-news.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/Charline-Brussels-2-570x320.jpg 570w, https:\/\/the-news.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/Charline-Brussels-2-300x168.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 570px) 100vw, 570px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-7753\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Brussels<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The architecture is really impressive which some people come just \u00a0to admire, while others are here to enjoy the restaurants and shops. We also saw groups of young people sitting on the floor idling the hours away in earnest discussion.<\/p>\n<p>The Mont des Arts offers a splendid view on Brussels.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_7751\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7751\" style=\"width: 570px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-7751\" src=\"https:\/\/coopsy.co.uk\/thenews\/wp-content\/uploads\/Charline-Brussels-3-570x320.jpg\" alt=\"The Mont des Arts\" width=\"570\" height=\"320\" srcset=\"https:\/\/the-news.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/Charline-Brussels-3-570x320.jpg 570w, https:\/\/the-news.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/Charline-Brussels-3-300x168.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 570px) 100vw, 570px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-7751\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Mont des Arts<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It composed by a small parc with a lot of flowers and trees.<br \/>\nWe \u00a0walked in the lanes before climbing stairs to discover the beautiful view.<\/p>\n<p>After there, we strolled in the direction of the \u201cPalais Royal\u201d.<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s huge and turns out to be the king\u2019s office. When the flag is flying from the \u00a0masthead, we know the king is in residence. Beautiful with its fountains, booths, and many benches. It\u2019s a famous tourist attraction and a symbol of the city.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_7764\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7764\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-7764\" src=\"https:\/\/coopsy.co.uk\/thenews\/wp-content\/uploads\/Charline-Brussels-The-Atomium-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"The Atomium\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-7764\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Atomium<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>The Atomium<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Unmistakable symbol of Brussels and Belgium and unique feat in the history of architecture: the Atomium is today the most popular attraction in the Capital of Belgium.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Built for the 1958 World Exhibition, the Atomium is shaped on the model of an elementary iron crystal enlarged 165 billion times. The upper sphere offers unique and spectacular views across the city skyline.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Les Galleries de la Reine<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>They were the first shopping streets covered over in Europe. It houses luxury boutiques, cafes and restaurants, a cinema and several bookshops.
