\nThe man who fell while working on Eastbourne Pier on Tuesday afternoon (August 19) has been named as Stephen Penrice, 44 from \u00a0Cumbria.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Emergency services were called shortly after 4pm to reports that a man had fallen from the pier, however Stephen was sadly declared dead at the scene.<\/p>\n

Sussex Police will be joined by colleagues from the Health and Safety Executive to investigate the incident.<\/p>\n
