Liverpool and England captain Steven Gerrard made the pass which resulted in Birmingham born 29 year old Lescott’s first goal for England.<\/p>\n

England manager Roy Hodgson said afterwards that he was well satisfied with England’s \u00a0first performance of these championships.<\/p>\n
