{"id":5592,"date":"2014-05-12T12:04:19","date_gmt":"2014-05-12T12:04:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/coopsy.co.uk\/thenews\/?p=5592"},"modified":"2014-05-14T12:58:05","modified_gmt":"2014-05-14T12:58:05","slug":"three-times-over-the-limit-driver-gets-25-months-ban","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/the-news.uk\/index.php\/news\/2014\/05\/three-times-over-the-limit-driver-gets-25-months-ban\/","title":{"rendered":"Three Times Over The Limit Driver Gets 25 Months Ban"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Philip Edmunds<\/strong>, 53, \u00a0of Chiltern Drive, Hastings,was disqualified from driving for 25 months and made the subject of a three month overnight curfew when he appeared at <strong>Hastings Magistrates&#8217; Court.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Curfew and Banned<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>He was also fined \u00a350 and ordered to pay \u00a385 costs and a \u00a360 victim surcharge after pleading guilty to drink-driving, driving without insurance and possession of cannabis.\u00a0He was found staggering along the pavement in Mount Pleasant Road, Hastings, on 7 December last year.<\/p>\n<p>After spending several hours in a pub drinking he had decided to drive home but crashed into a taxi on the way.<\/p>\n<p>When tested at a police station, he had 251 milligrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood &#8211; well over the 80 milligrammes legal limit.<\/p>\n<p>Supt.
