National Trust Easter Outings in West Sussex<\/span><\/h2>\n

This year, the National Trust in West Sussex is inviting families to join a Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt to unleash their inner explorer. <\/span><\/p>\n

Adventurous quests are taking place across the county, from spring woodlands and historic houses to picturesque South Downs landscapes. <\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s easy to make a Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt a fun family day out to remember, in surroundings that are second to none.<\/span><\/p>\n

What\u2019s more, everyone will be rewarded with a delicious Cadbury chocolate treat at the end of each completed hunt, and every single Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt will help support special places looked after by the National Trust for future generations to explore.<\/span><\/p>\n

Petworth House\u2019s butler bunny has dropped some VIP eggs and they have rolled all over the huge mansion and grounds. <\/span><\/p>\n

Can you help him to find the third Earl of Egg-remont and their team of half a dozen staff by solving the rhyming riddles? Your hunt will take you on an adventure through the servants\u2019 quarters, house and Pleasure Grounds, and your reward will be a Cadbury chocolate treat!<\/span>
\nPetworth Park is over 500 years old; home to huge trees to hug and climb, as well lots of wildlife, including a herd of fallow deer. <\/span><\/p>\n

The park is so beautiful it was painted by Britain\u2019s greatest landscape artist, JMW Turner; if you go into the house you\u2019ll see the deer in one of his famous paintings in the Carved Room.<\/span><\/p>\n

Set on top of the South Downs, with amazing views and lots of space to run around in, Uppark is the perfect place for an Easter hunt. <\/span><\/p>\n

Track down the clues around the garden as you follow your Easter egg hunt route, and you\u2019ll receive a delicious Cadbury chocolate gift once you\u2019ve finished. If it’s breezy bring your kite and practice your flying techniques!<\/span><\/p>\n

The fun continues until 10 April, with Uppark\u2019s spring trail. The Uppark hares have hidden eggs around the garden and out buildings. See if you can find them all then claim your prize at the end.<\/span><\/p>\n

There\u2019s so much egg-related fun it\u2019ll be difficult to know where to start: there\u2019s crafty egg-decorating fun, and all sorts of competitions, from egg rolling and egg and spoon races, to face painting, an old-fashioned egg shy and craft activities. <\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout the day, kids can follow the Cadbury Easter Hunt and spring nature trail along the River Rother, to claim their chocolaty Cadbury prize. <\/span><\/p>\n

This hunt starts at the Jubilee Orchard, next to the Forge village shop, then crosses pasture full of frisking lambs and enters Slindon woods, which are full of surprises. <\/span><\/p>\n

Join us in an Easter extravaganza to investigate these ancient woodlands, secret dips and hidden hollows, which in spring are brimming with bluebells and other woodland flowers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Solve the clues to claim your scrumptious Cadbury treat – it’s a perfect way to spend your Easter Saturday morning. <\/span><\/p>\n

The hunt ends at St Mary\u2019s church, where tired explorers and their parents can purchase tea, squash and homemade cake.<\/span><\/p>\n
