So you think it is chilly here?
Our reader, Alex, lives in Russia about three hours flight time east of Moscow in the frozen wastes of the far north.
The river Ob, Siberia, is full of ice making it impossible to cross by boat, but as it’s only minus 10c it’s not frozen enough yet to drive across. Which leaves only the helicopter…..
It needs to be very cold before the fuel in one’s car freezes solid…
Warm and cosy….
Life goes on….
They have power lines and maybe telephones too. They certainly have the Internet and email which is how these photos reached us.
Their church plays a major part in their lives and is a living symbol of how Christianity has spread to the farthest corners of the globe.
