The Annual political party conference season in Brighton kicks off today with the Green Party.
Friday 13th sees key speakers at the Hilton Metropole including party leader Natalie Bennett, followed by their only MP, Brighton Pavilion’s Caroline Lucas who speaks to conference at 4.15pm
On Saturday Cllr Jason Kitcat, leader of Brighton & Hove City Council, is the eagerly awaited keynote speaker .
Lots of fringe meetings are also planned on topics ranging across the political spectrum, with debates likely to be as lively the weekend weather which forecasts gales for Sunday.
