Balcombe Fracking Demonstrators Should Check Neighbouring Sites

As the demonstrators gather in Balcombe to fight for their right to protest perhaps they should cast an eye over the drilling site outside Storrington in West Sussex.

For the last few years there has been a ‘Nodding Donkey’ oil rig tucked behind the trees off the A283 just to the east of Storrington, and opposite the entrance to historic Parham, an Elizabethan house open to the public.

It’s so quiet and unobtrusive few knew it was there…One could almost imagine oneself in the North East!
