UK Foreign Secretary William Hague MP condemns the murder of Palestinian teenager.
He said:
I condemn the appalling murder of a Palestinian teenager from occupied East Jerusalem on 2 July. It is vital that the people responsible for this crime are held accountable.
I welcome the Israeli government’s commitment to bring those responsible to justice. It is essential to avoid any action that could lead to further loss of innocent life. Recent events reinforce the need to take steps towards a lasting peace.
