Brighton Bus Crash
After a collision between two buses near Brighton’s Clock Tower a major incident has been declared.
It happened around 9.22 am Monday 6 July and a number of people have been taken to hospital, two are described as being critical and another eleven have also been taken to hospital.
Police are advising drivers to avoid the city centre for the time being but hope to reopen the roads currently closed by 3 pm.
The chief inspector gave a press briefing which reflected the expertise with which the local Police had handled this incident with their calm and measured response.
