A 12-year-old boy has been seriously injured in a road accident on Carden Avenue in Brighton.
Emergency services were called at 12.30pm on Sunday (August 31) where the boy had been injured by a black Mercedes Benz near to the junction with Carden Crescent.
The 12-year-old from Brighton was initially taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital but was later flown to Kings Hospital in London where he remains in a serious condition.
