Remembrance Sunday In Brighton

By William Mills

Once again, as every year, at 11am there was a minute’s silence to commemorate those who fell in the service of their country during conflict.

At 11am on 11th November 1918 the First World War ended with an armistice that left a million dead from the British Empire after four years of carnage.

The photographs were taken at the war memorial in Brighton’s Old Steine.
