At 9.15 on Sunday morning there was a dreadful crash as a passing lorry caught scaffolding in Margaret Street, Brighton.
Police were quickly on the scene and a car blocked the northern end of the street.
A car was damaged and the front of the house was left with a window dangling.
But fortunately no-one was hurt.
