Saturday 22nd September saw the start of the LibDem conference in Brighton. The usual fringe meetings were taking place in the hotels up and down the seafront.
We found A UK Dazzling Beauty Pageant. The girls and their parents were having an evening of it, many of whom had come from as far away as the Midlands only to find all the rooms taken by the political conference delegates. Many faced either driving home or to going to hotels a far afield as Gatwick.
