Police are appealing for witnesses to the theft of a postbox from Penhurst Lane, Battle, between 4.30pm on Wednesday (4 June) and 4.30pm on Thursday (5 June).
The old style Elizabeth postbox sat on a black plinth. It is unknown at this stage whether there was any mail in the postbox.
