A driver was arrested in Eastbourne on Friday evening (May 30) after his flat bed van was in collision with a pedestrian, leaving her with serious injuries.
The collision happened around 8.15pm in Eastbourne. The 29-year-old woman, from Eastbourne, suffered serious head injuries and was initially taken to the Eastbourne District General Hospital, but was later flown by air ambulance to Southampton General Hospital.
She remained in a critical, but stable condition on Saturday afternoon.
