Rt. Hon. Peter Hain, Labour MP for Neath, responded to us over allegations made by UKIP leader Nigel Farage MEP about protesters who sought to disrupt Monday’s UKIP meeting in Hove Town Hall.
Mr Hain’s office issued the following statement;
‘I am proud to be a prominent sponsor of Unite Against Fascism and its campaigning against racism, fascism, anti-Semitism and Islamaphobia. However I knew nothing about this incident in Brighton and nor do I approve of such behaviour.’
