Brighton Girl Bids For Beauty Stardom

Local girl selected for International Beauty Pageant in aid of Rainbow Child Foundation

Brighton resident Michaela Shireen Anderson has been selected to compete for a place in an exciting beauty pageant being held in Disneyland Paris!

Michaela Shireen Anderson from Brighton has been chosen by the Face Of The Globe organisation to compete at a regional heat being held at the Azur in Hastings on May 26^th 2013.

The contest has four age categories, and  Michaela, 23, will be in the 18+ seniors  from which, if she is selected , will be invited to Disneyland Paris this October to compete against girls from all over the World!
Michaela won Miss Natural Sparkle in 2013, and Brighton’s Dazzling Beauty in  2012 as well as  the UK’s best smile.

Michaela loves the whole pageant experience. She enjoys meeting new people and sharing pageant tips, and has made friends for life.

If she wins Face of The South East  she wants to encourage girls of all shapes and sizes that beauty is not just on the outside but on the inside too, showing them that beauty pageants could be the confidence boost they need. Michaela wants to be a role model and help  others  by raising lots of money for charity.

Michaela is a freelance dance practitioner and model. She is very passionate about dance and has high ambitions for her career as a dancer/model. She hopes that the judges will recognise this!

Michaela is a very friendly, sweet, and ambitious girl, and hopes that the interviews with the judges on the day will show this side of her personality, as the finalists will be judged not just on looks, but also their personalities. Among the awards are Miss Publicity and Miss Charity. The Rainbow Child Foundation (No 327489)  was founded by X Factor and Dancing On Ice star Chico Slimani.

Michaela has set up her own online pageant to raise money for Rainbow Child Foundation with an online fundraising page highlighting her big plans for upcoming charity events this summer, details of which can be found on Facebook.
